Ms Kristy's homework.
The July 4th is an special day for the USA, and for me, I can tell that it is special too. I've been in the USA for 9 years, and my experience from this holiday, it has been nice because during all this time I had learned how the american people celebrates the July 4th.
For me, the July 4th means an special day, even when I don't know much about this event. It is an special day because first of all, I feel that I'm part of it, secondly because I like all the events from this holiday; fireworks, barbecue, parties, picnics, etc, and the most it is an special day because every July 4th, I got the day off, and I got pay for this day.
What I do is to go a picnic with all my friends, and we celebrate it with barbecue, beers, and of course with mexican food. After the picnic at night, we just start with the fireworks.
Well, I don't know much about July 4th, but I did my research and I foud it from: Wikipedia The Free Encyclopedia.

Hello Alfredo!
ReplyDeleteHow are you? I am doing well!
Here is what I think about your paragraph.
First, you have way too many commas. You need to break this up and add some periods.
After holiday (in the first paragraph) you need a : You use a colon when you want to list things.
Good job on the research! Fix this and get it back to me. When you do, I'll change your grade.
