Watercress: a perennial cress, usually growing in clear, running water, and having pungent leaves. The leaves, used for salads, soups, and as a garnish.
Artichoke: a herbaceous, thistlelike plant, having an edible flower head.
Eggplant: a plant cultivated for its edible, dark purple or occasionally white or yellow fruit. The fruit of this plant, used as a table vegetable.
Brussels Sprouts: a plant having small, edible heads or sprouts along the stalk. Usually the heads or sprouts of this plant used as a table vegetable.
