Cabbage: any of several cultivated varieties of a cruciferous plant, having a short stem and leaves formed into a compact, edible head.
Watercress: a perennial cress, usually growing in clear, running water, and having pungent leaves. The leaves, used for salads, soups, and as a garnish.
Artichoke: a herbaceous, thistlelike plant, having an edible flower head.
Eggplant: a plant cultivated for its edible, dark purple or occasionally white or yellow fruit. The fruit of this plant, used as a table vegetable.
Brussels Sprouts: a plant having small, edible heads or sprouts along the stalk. Usually the heads or sprouts of this plant used as a table vegetable.

The best place in the world is Mexico, and it is for many reasons, is not just because my country, or because I was born there. In Mexico there are many interesting things where everybody can enjoy, and it is a beautiful place to live or for just to take a great vacations. I would like to mention some of them.

First of all, I want to talk about ist food. Mexican food is the greatest food in the world and it is well known by its many delicious recipes. For example the tacos, this recipe is a traditional food and it is like a fast food, because it doesn't take long time to make them. Another recipe that it is well known and traditional too is the mole, this delicious food is the favorite of many mexicans. Besides the tacos and the mole we can count too with the delicious chimichangas, and what about the guacamole, that it is always on the table. But lets not forget about this delicious recipe too,the pozole; that it is a favorite food too, but what about the tamales, a tratidional mexican food too and they are in many mexicans events. Well, I just had mentioned some recipes, but there are many more that all mexican and all people can enjoy.

Secondly, I would like to talk about its culture, for example the traditional mexican mariachi, that it has a simbol that enrich more the mexican culture. Besides the mariachi, there is the mexican craftsmanship, where day and night that crafstman work so hard, and they make different types of shapes in different volumens and different colors. With their talent and their job makes the mexican culture even more interesting. But, what about its tequila, that is part too of the mexican culture, in Mexico there are many cities where make the tequila, and it is distribute in many countries of the world.

The third reason that I want to talk is about ist tourism. In Mexico, there are many beautiful places where all tourists can visit it and where they can enjoy. If you are planning to take a great vacations, and you are looking for sand, sun and sea you can go to mexican beaches, Mexico counts with many of them for example the Acapulco's beaches or if you prefer the Mazatlan's beaches or what about the Cancun's beaches, for just to mention a few. If you are looking for something else, you can go to visit the well known pyramids the sun and the moon, or the Tenochtitlan's pyramid, or what about the canal 0f Xochimilco. Well, Mexico counts with many different places where everybody can visit or take a great vacations.

Finally, without any doubt, I can tell that Mexico is the best place in the world, and not only for these three reasons, it is for many others. But, I just had mentioned some of them.

QUESTION 4. ALCOHOL.

Why alcohol should be outlawed on TV? In college newspapers? I think, alcohol should be no allowed in every where. Because is a very damage sustancie, that it can cause rapid poisoning, frequently leads to longterm addiction, and always threatens self control. Is the reason of many tragedies. For example, car accidents, family abuses, and is the reason that many wokers are absent or late, and tend to loss their jobs, and many times their families. But the worst thing is that many minors are involve. Specially the students, where many of them usually have the lowest grade or even though, they drop the school. Alcohol can cause too, infertility in women and impotence in men. Actually alcohol, plays a major role in many relationships where many of them are destroy. Alcohol causes many negative effects, and should be not allowed anymore.

NIGH WATCH

Night Watch is a good story, but really sad. If I were the son of the old man in this story, my first reaction it would be angry. Why angry? because I did not have the opportunity to watch my father in his last moment of life. I will also angry, because at the moment that I was told that somebody else took care of him in his last hours, and it wasn't me. In that moment I would be angry for everything. For myself, for life, for the airplane companies.
My second reaction it would be grateful, because at the moment that I was told, that it was a Marine that it took care of my father, I would looking for him just to give them all my gratitudes, even more when he didn't tell my father that it he wasn't me. That would be my unique consolation, just to think that it my father die thinking that it was me, who took care of him in his lat moment.

SPEND TIME WITH A FAMOUS PERSON

If I could spend time with a famous person, it would be Shakira. Why? because is a nice person, she loves to help people, when I say people I refer children, youths, adults, women. Because she has been a successful person, in her life, her career and everything that she does. I would like spend tme with her because I've been a fan of her, since I was a child. Also because I like her music, everytime she dances, I like her hip movement and because she is beautiful.

MY MISTAKES FROM THE BLOGG

SPENT : I used this word in my topic about my favorite place, because I thought that I was using the correct word. In this word I just wanted to explain about the time, for example pass time in something that you like it. But SPENT is the simple past and the past participle of SPEND.

SPEND : Is the simple present and is more formal, and implies spending for some definite in usually or worthy objects.
